Ashley’s Autumn Must-Haves

Autumn: what does it mean to you? For me autumn is the season I look forward to most. Why? It means forcing my summer dresses and sandals to take the annual walk of shame into the depths of my wardrobe and getting my jumpers, boots and coats out of retirement. Defined simply as ‘a rough-surfaced woollen cloth, originally produced in Scotland’ sybolises country life like no other fabric and is woven into the history of Hawick and the Scottish Borders.
