James Wright, a Yorkshireman with a passion for quality textiles, founded the business in Scotland. Inspired by the rich heritage of Scottish manufacturing, he set out with a clear vision: to create beautiful, luxury socks made in Hawick, a proud textile town with a long tradition of craftsmanship.

Working closely with skilled makers in Hawick, the focus was on learning the craft. Every detail mattered, from selecting the finest yarns to understanding the traditional knitting processes.
